The Antique and Classic Boat Society Annual Meeting and Boat Show will be at Reefpoint Marina in Racine, Wisconsin September 8-9. During the show, members will bring more than 120 wooden and fiberglass boats for display. The boats are stunning restored vessels from the 1920's-1960's.

From 9AM-5PM each day, families will have the opportunity to visit these the vessels. There will also be free boat rides available. On Saturday from 11AM-2PM, kids will be able to paint toy boats.

Racine's 2017 Public Art Project fits in perfectly with this fun event this year -- "Don't Miss the Boat" features more than two dozen sailboats and motorboats decorated by local artists. We checked out the boats last week and they both fun and intriguing. They will be auctioned off on September 9 during the show.

While in Racine, don't forget to walk along North Beach. There is an enormous park there for the kiddos. Plus, the zoo is nestled along the lake -- so another family treat! September 8 and 9 will be fun days to visit Racine, Wisconsin. If you have never been to a boat show, this is your chance!
