OHC is a fabulous yearly architectural celebration that invites visitors to explore new neighborhoods and new architectural gems. Hours do vary a little for some buildings and some are only open one day of the event. So, plan ahead by looking at the Open House Chicago website. Photography will be permitted in some of the locations. You can either ask upon visit or see the designated sites in the Event Guide. The Event Guide will be part of the October 11 Chicago Tribune. There also will be a limited number available at some of the sites. Two suburbs included in the event are Evanston and Oak Park.
In a couple of weeks, spend some time admiring and exploring the unique architecture that is Chicago! What a great way to spend a fall day!
