Valentine's Events That Will Make Your Dog's Tail Wag

There are a couple of Valentine's events for our furry friends in the Arlington Heights area this Saturday.  Bentley's Corner Barkery, an all natural pet bakery and food store in downtown Arlington Heights, is hosting a Valentine's Day Party and Kissing Booth.  The cute Kissing Booth can be used as an adorable photo op for you and your cat or dog.  Additionally, there will be refreshments for both pets and their parents.  If you would like to snag a Valentine's indulgence for your sweetie, there will be Valentine-themed baked goods for sale.  This event will be held all day (the store hours are 10-5).  Also, from 12:00-3:00, The Buddy Foundation will be on hand with some great dogs that need a good home.  A portion of your purchases between 12:00 and 3:00 will be donated to The Buddy Foundation.

There will be more Valentine's excitement over at The Buddy Foundation itself.  From 11:00-3:00, they will be taking Valentine's pictures of your four legged friends for a $7.50 donation.  There also will be hot dogs, chips, soda, and dessert for purchase.  I think that my dogs are most interested in the hot dogs!  The Buddy Foundation is a no-kill, safe shelter for pets in need of a home.  It is a great cause and I know several people who have found forever friends there!
