After having some raspberry lemonade at the movies this weekend, my daughter was inspired to make some at home. We dropped the sugar and came up with a refreshing version. This recipe is super easy and perfect for the hot days ahead!
Ingredients:
2 large lemons, juiced (enough for 1 cup of fresh lemon juice)
2/3 cup raspberries, rinsed
4 cups cold water
Directions:
First, I juiced our lemons and put the juice aside. Next, I put our rinsed raspberries into a bowl and mashed them a little.
Then, I pushed the raspberries through a strainer into a bowl so that we would get the juice and not the seeds.
After, I poured the raspberry juice and lemon juice into a large measuring cup. I then filled the measuring cup with water until it held 5 cups. Then, I chilled our concoction. We enjoyed it a little while later! A cool treat without the added sugar!
