Wow, it seems like there are quite a few cool things on Tuesdays this summer!
The Raupp Museum in Buffalo Grove has free activities/crafts from 1:00PM-3:00PM on Tuesdays through August 14th. My daughter and I have attended the event twice and my daughter enjoyed it each time. During one occasion she churned butter. During another, she made paper. Combine that with a scavenger hunt around the museum and she had a great time!
The Elmhurst Historical Museum in Elmhurst is hosting its Summer Fun and Games from 1:00PM-3:00PM on Tuesdays through August 14th. During the event, kids get to make crafts. The cost is $2 for a nonmember and $1 for a member. Tomorrow, kids can make sundials.
For evening fun, try the Sounds of Summer at the Glen Town Center in Glenview. Music starts on Tuesdays at 6:30PM through August 28th. The fun event features music, face painting, and a balloon artist. Children's activities do start at 5PM--before the music. The event is free and festive!
