**This event has sold out. However, make sure to follow Yapa Events for future family fun!**
Within the next couple of weeks, lights will be sparkling all over! I really love this time of year because even though the evenings can be cold {brrrrrr}, the presence of colorful lights all over truly warms things up! With Thanksgiving next week, many towns will be lighting their trees and spreading the holiday cheer!
Arlington Heights will hold its Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony Friday November 29 at North School Park at 4:30PM. If you have never seen North School Park lit up during the holiday season, it is truly a treat. My daughter loves to drive by the park as many times as we can during the holiday season to see the lights! There will be a number of displays to walk through and, of course, a beautiful tree! The event is a festive family tradition complete with singing and merriment! Walking through the park is like walking through a Winter Wonderland!
This year, the fun does not have to end with the lighting of the tree! Bradish Associates will be holding a lovely "Warming Up for Christmas" event just across Arlington Heights Road from the park (215 North Arlington Heights Road). The event is free and will run from 4:45PM-6:30PM. The holiday fun will include hot chocolate and cookies (yum!), cookie decorating for kids, a fun Christmas craft and a keepsake photo taken by Just Peachy Photography! What a way to make the evening a complete holiday memory! The next few weeks will be so busy, it will be nice to begin the season with such a special family moment.
The event is free but space is limited, so you need to register! This event has been put together by Yapa Events, so all you need to do is head over to the Yapa Events website to register! Yapa Events has put together some great family events and this one is sure to please!
