Fox and Hound in Arlington Heights will be holding a charity event on January 29, 2015 to benefit WINGS. The same day, Fox and Hound in Schaumburg will be holding a benefit for Ronald McDonald House. Both are great local charities and a reason to get out and have some fun!

The menu will include Greek Hummus with Pita and Veggies, Drunken Chicken Tenders, Tavern Wings, BBQ Chicken Flatbread, Fish & Chips and Black Forest Sliders. Drink options include Irish ‘Rita, Kryptonite ‘Rita, Vodka Vigilante, Twisted Bitter, Strawberry Blonde, Kendall Jackson Chardonnay, Louis Martini Cabernet and Draft Beer.
Ronald McDonald House's chief mission is to help families with children facing complex medical situations through providing understanding, compassion and community. The charity fulfills their mission with various efforts including the Ronald McDonald Houses themselves where families can stay while their child is in the hospital. The charity also has a mobile care unit that can provide medical assistance to children in under-served areas. Recently, Ronald McDonald House opened a family room at Edward Hospital. The room helps families find some at home comfort as their child receives treatment. Additionally, Ronald McDonald House awards scholarships to academically promising, community minded and economically challenged students.
WINGS helps local homeless women and children and is also one of the state's largest domestic violence services as well as housing provider. Initially a grassroots program, WINGS has expanded greatly since its inception in 1985. WINGS helps women in various realms including furthering their education, managing finances, embarking on careers, developing life skills and more.
The entire price of your ticket during these special events will go to benefit one of these worthy charities! If you are looking for an excuse to get out for the evening, this is the perfect excuse!
