**Disclosure: We did receive a complimentary meal at Weber Grill to bring this review to you. No other compensation was received. All opinions are 100% my own.
This week, we sampled some of the grilled creations at Weber Grill in Lombard. I have to tell you off the bat that one of my favorite things about Weber Grill is that the menu is quite large. My family definitely loves its grilled food, but I really can't think of any other restaurant with so many grilled options. Really something for everyone! We began our exploration with the Grilled Honey Dijon Chicken skewers which were moist, tasty and plentiful.
**Interesting Fact: The red kettle outside of Weber Grill's Lombard location could hold 300 burgers at one time if it were used.
Weber Grill features special cocktails for the summer including The Blues Brothers--which I just had to sample! Just as you may suspect, The Blues Brothers features blueberry as well as lime juice, Stoli Blueberi and mint. Cool, crisp and wonderful for summer.
Salads always seem to be filling and vibrant! My husband had the Mixed Green Salad and I went for the Sizzlin Korean BBQ Shrimp Salad for my dinner. And, sizzlin' the shrimp were!
**Interesting Fact: Weber Grills do feature open kitchens so you can see your chefs grilling your meal on Weber grills!
For dinner, my husband enjoyed one of the BBQ Grilled Combos. He chose ribs and chicken but you can also opt for pulled pork, house smoked sausage, black angus meatloaf or beef brisket. Classic and delicious flavors!
My daughter had to order her favorite--a cheeseburger. Look at the size of that cheeseburger for a kids' meal! Kids' meals do come with a small beverage, tater tots, fruit, seasonal veggies and a cookie! You can add a cookie sundae for a small fee. Really an amazing deal for a kids' meal!
Of course, who doesn't like a sweet ending to a numptious meal? Weber Grill has a nice selection of desserts, some seasonally inspired. Enjoying summer flavors, I opted for the strawberry basil mini dessert---and a peanut butter chocolate mini dessert. They are mini so it was ok, right? I enjoyed both but the peanut butter chocolate as a stand out for me. But, I am partial to the combo..... The hubs had a creme brulee and polished it off quite handily!
So, what did my daughter have? The cookie sundae, of course! Sundae heaven!
As you can see and virtually taste through the lovely pictures, we had a wonderful meal! We met Executive Chef Dan while we visited and he is one of the nicest guys you will meet! Plus, I can say that all of his creations were well executed make for such a delicious meal! Thanks, Chef Dan!
