September 18-20 Palatine Rotary Oktoberfest, across from Metra Station, live entertainment, food, Saturday is family day from 12PM-3:30PM with kids activities and entertainment
September 19 Oktoberfest Long Grove, free hayrides, antique tractor show, beer tent at Village Tavern, on Saturday from 8AM-2PM there is also an autoshow
September 19 Oktoberfest, Glenview Haus, 11AM-11PM, 11AM-5:30PM for kids activities including a bouncy house and face painting, admission is free, German specialities, pretzels, beer and more for purchase
September 26: Vernon Hills Oktoberfest, kids crafts, inflatables, free pumpkin painting, free hay rides, live music, seems mainly like a fun family time but I didn't see mention of German food although food will be available, see website
