spring flowers
A recent walk around the Chicago Botanic Garden revealed that flowers are popping up! Blooms are gracing both trees and other plants.
While many trees are still barren and the landscape still reflects the browns and grays we became familiar with throughout winter, quite a few spring treasures are popping up!
Many of the blooms I spied are low to the ground, so be extra observant. I was amazed by the wide variety of blooms that are already pleasant!
Walks throughout future weeks are sure to reveal a cascade of new shapes and hues!
After a stroll through outdoor gardens, don't forget to take a peek in the greenhouses. They are alive with brilliant colors!
Spring is here!
