Every Degustabox is a new adventure. The box is filled with a range of food selections -- savory and sweet, already made and ingredients to craft your own creation. So many things to try! We do sometimes find items we are already familiar with in the box. However, most of the items tend to be new to us. November's box was no exception. Here is a peek at what we found:
- The Lovely Candy Company Caramels
- Walkers Shortbread
- Bauducco Mini Panettone
- Bell's Seasoning
- Arteason
- Goya Tortillas
- Country Archer Jerky Co
- Goya Pico De Gallo
- Rufus Teague Kansas City Barbecue Sample
- Oreo Chocolate Candy Bar
- Cafe Bustelo Coffee
- Aneto Natural Chicken Broth
Goya Tortillas and Pico De Gallo and Bell's Seasoning
The Goya Tortillas and Pico De Gallo and Bell's Seasoning seemed to be a nice combination for a dinner with flare. We made shrimp seasoned with Bell's, quesadillas and had the pico de gallo on the side. Yum!
Then, we made some cheese quesadillas.
Pico on the side ready to serve up as much as you need!
Sometimes, the ideas just flow when you receive your Degustabox!
Country Archer Turkey Jerky
Another product that I tried out was the Country Archer Turkey Jerky. The jerky is made with 100% cage free turkey breast with no antibiotics or added hormones. The particular jerky in my box was hickory flavored and boy was it delicious! As a hiker, I think Country Archer would be a great choice for a protein snack on a trek. Great product!
Aneto Natural Chicken Broth
Lately, I have been making a lot of soups. This year, we joined a CSA and we often have a ton of greens to use. I have been making some of our extra greens into soups. So, I was delighted to see the broth! I used the broth and threw in some kale, spinach and potatoes and we have a start of a soup! Add some onion and a little lemon -- very yummy!
As you can see, Degustaboxes are quite fun. My exploration usually goes past a month. I am always discovering new products that I really love. This is a great gift for foodie friends this Christmas!
