It still may look like the picture above outside, but it doesn't mean that there isn't some spring fun to be had this weekend! Here are my picks for family fun this weekend in the Chicago suburbs:

- April 7-8 Heroes and Villains Fan Fest, Stevenson Center, Rosemont, learn about what it takes to be a hero, get insight into favorite shows and more, check website for ticket and event info
- April 7 Nature Playdate, Heller Nature Center, Highland Park, 10AM-11:30AM, learn about nature, participate in a nature activity, take a self guided hike, free
- April 7 Brookfield Zoo Goes Blue for Autism Awareness, 10AM-6PM, details: "Brookfield Zoo is once again taking part in the annual Zoos Go Blue campaign on Saturday, April 7! To commemorate the day, the zoo’s iconic lion statues will be clothed in blue scarves, blue flags will decorate the park’s grounds, and special inclusive activities and animal Zoo Chats will take place.
