Fall is certainly in the air and this month's Degusta Box certainly had a bit of a sweet flavor to it. What a great box for Halloween! The October Degusta Box delivered to our home so many treats including both the sweet and savory kind. What a tempting box!

BUSH's BEST Siracha Lime Roasted Chickpeas:
I am ALWAYS in the search for healthy protein snacks, so I was pleased to see a new-to-me snack from BUSH'S that fit this bill in my Degusta Box! In addition to snacks in their own right, the chickpeas can be added to salads and soups. I found them quite tasty and loved the easy pack to port with me on trips!
Brown & Haley Caramel Roca:
I immediately smiled when I saw the Brown & Haley in the box -- net necessarily because it is sweet but because it is from one of my favorite cities Tacoma, Washington! Ok, I was also happy that it was a sweet treat! I opened the packaged of Caramel Rocas and found candy in a nice foil.
Caramel Roca is more of a hard caramel. However, I did break it so you can see the inside. The treat is delicious and the caramel has a buttery caramel flavor. What a treat!
Updating to add that I tried the Idahoan Foods Creamy Potato Soup last night during Halloween and it was delicious! The soup is pretty easy to make, just add water. The process has only a couple of steps and takes about 20 minutes total. The soup is not watery but a nice thickness -- I was pleasantly surprised by that!
