Patisserie Coralie in Evanston, Illinois is the spot for French pastries and a spot of tea or coffee
Tea and pastries at Patisserie Coralie in Evanston, Illinois -- can we say perfect winter day joy! When things start getting chilly around here in the Chicago area, I head for places where I can get tea or coffee. Pastries and chocolates are always a great bonus! Last weekend, I visited Patisserie Coralie in Evanston for the first time. The adorable French patisserie was very busy and it was easy to see why! Patisserie Coralie has every pastry you can think of including croissants, macarons, tarts, meringues, madeleines, eclairs, viennoiseries, truffles and more.

My daughter chose to indulge in a Chocolate Bomb. Doesn't it look too pretty to eat? The Chocolate Bomb was such a delicious and artful creation. I can just imagine the wows from guests if I were to serve this at a party!

Tips:
- Patisserie Coralie is family-owned. We overall found the location to be warm and friendly with personal touches.
- Coralie Coffee is their own roast and roasted locally in Evanston.
- Cafe Coralie in Evanston is a sister location.
- Patisserie Coralie is wonderful to sit in decked with beautiful chandeliers and a lightly sophisticated atmosphere. However, there were quite a few patrons there camped on computers. So, I would be prepared to take and go in case there isn't seating.
