Degusta Box Foodie Explorations for January

We dove straight into the new year with a great Degusta Box! I love having Degusta Boxes to open over the winter because they add an extra uplift and frivolity on days when you may be cooped up. January's Degusta Box was full of fun surprises. Inside we discovered:

Time to try things out! While I love opening my box to see what is in it, it is delicious to do some sampling! ;)

La Tortilla Factory Low Carb Flour Tortillas

We were so absolutely lucky to have all of the fixings for quesadillas including La Tortilla Factory Low Carb Flour Tortillas on a recent snow day. The perfect comfort food!

All I did is heat the oven to 350, filled up 1/2 side of each tortilla with a combo of mushrooms, onions and cheese, folded the tortilla, put on a press and heated for a bit. I don't recommend leaving the press on too long -- just enough for the side to stay down.

Easy cheesy lunch!

Chocolate Frey Dark Crunchy Nut Bar 

Oh yeah! Chocolate! I tried the Chocolate Frey Dark Crunchy Nut Bar. I have to say -- I loved it! The chocolate was perfectly smooth and the hazelnuts generated the right crunch. 

Partners Crackers and MaraNatha Dark Chocolate Almond Nut Butter

I combined two of my treasures this time! I enjoyed the deliciously sweet MaraNatha Dark Chocolate Almond Nut Butter on some Partners Crackers for a treat. If you like frosting on graham crackers -- I think this MaraNatha Nut Butter would be perfect and a bit healthier. Lol! The Partners Crackers were delicious as well and a very good versatile snack cracker.
