Be Present with Tea at Macha Tea Co. in Madison, Wisconsin

Macha Tea Co. in Madison, Wisconsin provided a magical tea stop for me along my road trip home last weekend from Tomah, WI. I scouted ahead en route for a place to pick up some tea for part of the drive. Upon discovering that Macha Tea Co. had loose leaf tea and treats, I just had to try it out.

I immediately fell in love with Macha Tea Co.'s warm yet unique tea house atmosphere. While we were there, visitors were being served special brunches for the lunar new year. From what I can see online, Macha Tea Co. has a variety of unique foodie adventures threaded with the love of tea. So, definitely follow them to learn about new adventures. Additionally, they have a number of tea pastries, cookies and more to enjoy.

Of course, you can visit just to enjoy the tea. There is a bar or you can order tea to go or even purchase your own loose leaf. Macha Tea Co. definitely has more to explore than what I was able to on our quick stop. The staff and patrons are both quite friendly and helped me choose a sencha to give me an uplift on my way home. While waiting, I perused tea, teaware and tea-inspired products. I was delighted to see tea cakes! I don't think I have actually seen them anywhere else. I hope on my next visit, I will have a little more time to check those out!

Alas, my tea was shortly ready and it was time to get back on the road. As I sipped my lovely sencha on the way home, I smiled thinking that I will definitely return to Macha Tea Company. If you love tea and are in Madison, take a little time to check out Macha Tea Co!
