Kenosha Tall Ships Brings Graceful Tall Ships to Kenosha August 1-4, 2019
**Disclosure: I did receive tickets to Kenosha Tall Ships to bring you information about this event as well as details of my experience. No other compensation was received. All opinions are 100% my own.
Tall Ships will be sailing into harbor in Kenosha this August! Visit Kenosha from August 1-4 to enjoy Kenosha Tall Ships 2019 family friendly festival highlighting Kenosha's maritime heritage. Tall Ships haven't visited Kenosha for ten years so this is a splendid opportunity to visit these seven historic and quite majestic vessels! I have never attended a Tall Ship event before, so I pretty excited to see these graceful sea vessels on Lake Michigan! Each one is so incredibly beautiful:

Parade of Sail August 1
The festival opens on August 1 with the Parade of Sail as the magnificent tall ships sail into port at 3:45PM. The docking of the ships is expected to begin at 5PM. The event will include an opening ceremony and live music. The Parade of Sail will be led be Kenosha's own pride and joy, the schooner Red Witch! Sounds like a blissful summer evening! Tickets for Kenosha Tall Ships 2019:
I highly recommend purchasing tickets for this event in advance. There are a variety of ticket options available for Kenosha Tall Ships depending on the events you would like to partake in. General festival tickets, sail away tickets and Kenosha Rocks the Dock tickets are all separate! Additionally, there is a family pass option. A Fast Pass will allow you to bypass lines for boarding tall ships. If you are looking for a better opportunity to take photos, there is an early admission photo pass that you can purchase to enter the festival at 9AM (this ticket includes festival admission). Since tickets for general admission, sailings and Kenosha Rocks the Dock are separate, you need to purchase EACH if you would like to attend more than one event.
**Please note backpacks and large bags are not allowed. Handbags will be searched for this festival.**
Kenosha Tall Ships provides quite a unique experience here on Lake Michigan! I am pretty excited to board some of these beautiful vessels in a couple of weeks!
