Grace Coffee & Wine Yorkville, IL Tempting Flavors All Around
Grace Coffee and Wine in Yorkville was recommended to me by a reader as a fantastic local coffee spot to explore. On an adventure in Yorkville, we found ourselves with a couple of hours to spare. So we headed over to
Grace Coffee and Wine for a coffee pick me up and a meal. At this point the day was pretty rainy, so a little Grace was just what we needed!

Feeling at home at Grace. |
I was immediately smitten when we entered Grace. The cafe is split into two sections. One side is a little more refined sit down area and the other side is more casual for sipping on coffee, tea or hot chocolate. There also is a loft which can be rented out for special occasions. When we walked in, I paused at the sitting area. How can you not love the sweet chandelier above the sitting area? I loved the warmth and welcome of the seats gathered around the fireplace. In some ways, you feel like you are entering a home yet a special place at the same time.

Heavenly Cinnamon Chai Tea Latte at Grace. The cinnamon is EVERYTHING! |
We took our time perusing the menu. Grace crafts breakfast, lunch, dinner, charcuterie and small plate food options. We visited Grace for a pretty quick visit but I could already tell that I would like to return to further explore the menu. The food options certainly tantalize with a variety of flavors with Grace's own unique flare. I especially would like to return and relax with a little wine and some small plates or a charcuterie board! I was pleased to see that Grace is keeping it local with Intelligentsia Coffee and Tiesta Tea. Arriving during a rainstorm, I felt that a Cinnamon Chai Latte was in order. My Cinnamon Chai Latte was heavenly and the cinnamon on top is a MUST.

Hearty and healthy Chicken Avocado Salad! |
I quickly choose a latte but choosing a meal took a little more time! Everything looked interesting! I honed in on the Chicken Avocado Salad featuring grilled chicken, sliced avocado, roma tomatoes and mixed greens with a buttermilk ranch. Applewood bacon also is included but I omitted that for my lunch. My salad was perfectly prepared with quality ingredients! Healthy and perfect for the day of wandering ahead!

Tempting French Toast Flight! |
My husband explored the French Toast Flight. I don't think we have ever encountered a French Toast Flight before, so we had to try it right? The French Toast is lovingly covered with berries and whipped cream, butter pecan and cinnamon roll. Talk about sweet temptation!

Quality ingredients make the sandwich! |
My daughter is absolutely a fan of Italian-inspired sandwiches so it is no shock that she chose the Italian! The Italian is piled high with salami, ham, prosciutto, mozzarella, onion, lettuce and tomato with a house dressing, oregano and parmesan. As you can see, sandwiches are served with house made chips. Another wonderful meal! You can see again that the quality is incredible.
We are certainly new fans of Grace! The restaurant is so inviting and the menu is packed with interesting flavors. I look forward to returning to explore more of Grace's menu and sit back to relax for a little. Grace is a special spot where you can enjoy well crafted meals and just get away from it all for a little while. Enjoy a little Grace!
