Beer Church Brewing Co. in New Buffalo, Michigan Creates a Unique Craft Beer Experience

Beer Church Brewing Co. in New Buffalo, Michigan quickly intrigues when you pass by and notice a steepled church abuzz with patrons at the biergarten and the word "Brewery" mounted upon the church. How could you not stop for a little visit? On our latest trip to New Buffalo, we took a peek inside to see what Beer Church Brewing Co. is all about.

Inside a Civil War era church, you find an open space full of sipping and munching patrons, an open pizza kitchen featuring an Acunto Napoli pizza oven and a bar featuring Beer Church's Craft Beer on tap. We were thrilled to visit a microbrewery that not only featured craft beer but nibbles as well.

We sat down and began to peruse the beer and food menus. From the beer list, we did choose three beers to sample. As you know, I am totally in love with the option of being able to choose a few smaller samplings of beers to try. Some of the beer did have nods to the church theme including Pontious Pilate and Crooked Cross. They also have a variety of interesting and tempting mixed drinks as well!

We ordered a few samples and continued to review the food menu for nibbles. We were not really in a pizza mood, but I would definitely check that out on a future visit. With the dedication to the craft of pizza making and baking in a handmade oven, the pizza should not be overlooked! Since we started our afternoon in New Buffalo at Beer Church Brewing, we option to just nosh and ordered a cheese board.

The menu includes a smattering of small plates, salads and sandwiches. Plenty to choose from! We enjoyed the variety of nibbles on our cheese board. We enjoyed a trio of cheeses. I really loved the burrata drizzled with olive oil. It tasted like popcorn to me!

We loved our first adventure to Beer Church Brewing Co! We look forward to returning on a future trip to New Buffalo, trying more beer and trying the pizza!
