Lunch Brunch at Casetta Kitchen and Counter in Madison, Wisconsin
We happened upon Casetta Kitchen and Counter quite by accident while visiting Madison. We parked nearby to walk over to the Wisconsin Historical Museum and happened to pass by. Our interest was piqued and we were hungry. I am glad that we went in. We had a great meal!
On Saturdays, Casetta has a brunch menu along with most of its lunch menu. Saturdays also feature table service and we were certainly glad to sit down and rest for awhile!
We both ordered sandwiches as well as greens from the brunch menu. I had the Turkey featuring turkey, provolone, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes and green sauce. I had the half portion which was ENORMOUS!
My husband had the Italian featuring capicola, salami, pepperoni, hot peppers and provolone. Again, look at the half portion!
A large side of greens completed our meal! We enjoyed our meal. Everything was fresh and well prepared. We were now fueled up and ready to explore! Definitely check out Casetta Kitchen and Counter if you are in the area. It is near the capitol building, so pretty convenient!
