Afternoon in New Buffalo, Michigan 

New Buffalo, Michigan is one of our favorites spots to wander a little bit. Of course, we love to spend time savoring Lake Michigan views:

While exploring, don't skip over the public sculptures!

On this trip, we tried two breweries! The first was Beer Church Brewing Co. which has found its home in an 1800's church! We enjoyed a sampling and a yummy cheese board! If you go, you may want to consider a pizza as well!

Later in the day, we headed to Ghost Isle Brewery for dinner and to sample some beer as well. My daughter enjoyed ribs -- what a portion too! I had the Plucked Gobbler Wrap full of turkey, avocado, lettuce and tomato. Some how I missed taking a picture of my husband's meal.........

We did do some hiking in the area and were thrilled to discover Galien River County Park! The trails at Galien River County Park are pretty easy to navigate. While it may seem like a trek to hike up to the canopy, it really isn't. Pretty much anyone can hike here and enjoy the views!

We had quite the splendid afternoon in New Buffalo! Of course, it is fun to visit when New Buffalo is abuzz in the summer. However, we love visits during all seasons. There is always something to explore!
