Peppermint Treats for the Holidays in the Chicago Suburbs
Holiday memories delight each year and the sparkle grows brighter and brighter as the season approaches! Peppermint treats evoke cherished holiday memories enjoying brilliant white and red candy canes or hot cocoa with peppermint. Over the years, I have enjoyed a few delicious peppermint treats here in the Chicago suburbs. So, I thought I would provide a little holiday magic by collecting some ideas for enjoying special peppermint treats from small businesses in our Chicago suburbs! Take a peek at my spots for peppermint treats. Our small businesses have some incredible and even some totally novel peppermint creations for the holidays! Artesa Bakery in Homer Glen
Artesa Bakery will be delighting taste buds with Peppermint Cupcakes, Peppermint Pound Cake and Peppermint Cookies towards the end of November, beginning of December. Artesa already has both a yummy Dark Peppermint Mocha and a White Chocolate Peppermint Latte. Keep an eye out .... Artesa may also feature other peppermint treats during the season!

All Chocolate Kitchen in Geneva
All Chocolate Kitchen will be featuring a Peppermint Hot Chocolate, Peppermint White Chocolate Bark, Candy Cane Gelato, Peppermint Brownie and Peppermint Chocolate Truffle. All Chocolate Kitchen is always a wonderland of treats and also is home to incredible chocolate and sugar sculptures that are must-sees!

Chicago Mike's Ice Cream Co. in Highwood
If you are looking for a scoop of peppermint ice cream, look no further than Chicago Mike's for locally churned Candy Cane Lane! Additionally, Chicago Mike's will be offering Peppermint Hot Chocolate Bombs! So absolutely tempting! The bombs are pure magic filled with decadent ingredients revealed once you pour streamed milk over the top!

Casting Whimsy in Woodstock
Casting Whimsy tempts mint fans with two tea blends including Patty, Sir which is a peppermint and spearmint tea blend. On Black Friday, Casting Whimsy will debut Eskimo Kiss which is an almond mint tea blend. After Thanksgiving, the tea shop will feature a Peppermint Glazed Shortbread. Delicious!

Comet Frozen Custard & Coffee in Rolling Meadows
Comet Frozen Custard & Coffee delights with Peppermint Frozen Custard and Peppermint Chip Frozen Custard during the holiday season. While Comet closes for the season November 25, you will be able to pre-order pints to pick up on December 12 for holiday celebrations. Before then, check out Comet's Facebook Page for current flavors. Such a wonderful way to add more festivity to your celebrations!
Louisa's and Millie's Chocolates in Downers Grove
Louisa's and Millie's Chocolates will be delighting with Hot Chocolate Balls including Peppermint Hot Chocolate Balls! Each will come in a box with a bow making the perfect delicious treat a fantastic gift! On my first visit to Louisa's and Millie's, I fell in love with the range of chocolate gifts that are perfect for every occasion. Donut Drop in Schaumburg
Donut Drop is known for absolutely delectable donuts and a blend of traditional and unique flavors. For the holiday season, Donut Drop will woo customers with Peppermint Bark Donuts. Around Cafe entices with their Lavender Latte -- seriously I cannot resist having one when visiting. However, they have the perfect peppermint treats for the holiday season -- a Peppermint Mocha and a Peppermint White Mocha great for a pick me up when holiday shopping!

What a delicate and nice holiday treat!
