8 Chicago Suburban Bakeries and Chocolate Shops for Easter and Spring Treats
With Easter around the corner, so many of us are thinking treats. I put together a list of some of my favorite spots not just for Easter treats but also something springy for after Easter too! Take a peek:
Central Continental Bakery in Mount Prospect: Central Continental Bakery now features a truly springy flavor for this season -- mango! Coffee cake, kolacky, pinwheel pastry, kringles and more come in mango flavor! Additionally, Central Continental Bakery features a full selection of Easter and brunch treats!
Bent Fork in Highland Park: Bent Fork is always baking up something with a little special flare for each holiday. Vibrant flower cookies and egg cookies are sure to spread a sugary smile! Cakes in so many shapes and designs. I love their lemon bars which are great for a spring vibe! I know I will be picking up one, two or three on some spring adventures!
Patisserie Coralie in Evanston: Patisserie Coralie is my favorites spot in the suburbs for a little slice of Paris. The patisserie's macarons come in a rainbow of colors and flavors guaranteeing that you will find something to fit your fancy. However, the Strawberry Basil Macaron Cake available for Easter especially wows with its delightful nest full of eggs and fresh strawberries floating the crown.

Frozen drinks are a sweet treat for warm days ahead. Adorable cakes including the sweet bunny buried in cake! Artesa's new "Cup" Cakes are just what you need to pack for a picnic!

Louisa's and Millie's in Downers Grove: I love, love, love all of the interesting and fun molded and decorated chocolates you can find at Louisa's and Millie's! I am particularly digging the specially decorated 3D chocolate eggs. You can also enjoy special chocolate dipped oreos, chocolate dipped pretzels and so much more. Remember to order early if you are looking for something personalized!

However, I am particularly in love with their spring cookies including adorable bunnies! Plus, they have delicious carrot cake! Will you be able to keep it from the Easter bunny?
Chocolate Inspirations in Roselle: My new favorite sweet spot in Roselle does not slack off when it comes to spring and Easter! Chocolate Inspirations crafts Salted Caramel Easter Eggs -- can you resist? Of course, Chocolate Inspiration crafts traditional chocolate bunnies but they also delight with Ruby Easter Bunnies, Tiger Butter Easter Bunnies and Cookie Butter Easter Bunnies! For something with the flavors of spring and summer days, Chocolate Inspirations has Raspberry and Strawberry Truffle Bars.
All Chocolate Kitchen in Geneva: When looking for a treat, you can never go wrong with All Chocolate Kitchen. Every time I am in Geneva, I have to stop in for an indulgent chocolate or a delectable cake or brownie. Plus, I always have to check out the amazing chocolate and sugar sculptures handcrafted by Chef Roby! This year, All Chocolate Kitchen has a special bunny because the Easter Bunny got the vaccine! Always a fun spot!
