Posture and proper alignment are so key to preventing further injury, bolstering wellbeing and being able to move without pain. Many of us have bad habits when it comes to posture. Tack on injuries and we all could use a little help with better movement. Before meeting Iryna, I had no idea that pilates could help you with these issues. Good posture can help with respiratory health, improved digestion and more energy.

Individualized Pilates Sessions Geared to YOU!!!

Before beginning our session, Iryna assessed my posture in several positions. She also asked me to identify trouble spots. Everyone's body is different, so assessing where you are individually is vital to a successful program. After assessing my posture and movements, Iryna determined appropriate pilates exercises suited perfectly to my issues.

Before visiting Iryna, I made the mistake of thinking we were going to do a modified pilates class. I could not have been more wrong! What we did was actually a series of exercises using apparatus tailored just to me! When you walk into Iryna's coaching suite, you will notice multiple apparatus that you may use in your individual pilates session. During my session, I was surprised by how each piece I used helped me focus on my body alignment. Like so many of us working on jobs involving computers, my shoulders tend to curl in. I know that this is a trouble spot for me. Throughout our session, I could feel improvements to this as both my chest and shoulders opened.

Pilates apparatus may look a bit daunting. However, once I used them I did not really feel so intimidated. Iryna is fantastic at instructing you how to use the apparatus as well as explaining how each exercise works. My movements were slow focusing on proper alignment and core stability. I learned more about how my body worked and improvements I could make.

Iryna is fantastic at explaining how each position and movement helps with your posture, core stability and mobility. She is certified in pilates, so you know that you will be enjoying quality sessions. You will leave sessions with Iryna with more knowledge about your body and how you can improve your wellbeing. While I felt that I worked out, I also felt that my alignment had improved after one session. However, it is so easy to slip into old habits and it may take time to solidify improvements. Iryna has several packages making dedicating to health with pilates so much easier.
