Happy almost weekend! Here are my picks for family fun this wintery weekend in the Chicago suburbs:

Ongoing Tour the Frank Lloyd Wright House and Studio during the holidays: Every year, the Oak Park home of the famous architect is decked out with period decorations for the holidays. The tree is absolutely not to be missed! Be sure to reserve your tour online. Tours are $20 per person.

Ongoing Visit Oak Park Conservatory for a warm-weather escape and brilliant blooms without leaving the 'burbs. Admission is free, donations appreciated. While in the area check out the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio and other Frank Lloyd Wright homes.
Ongoing through February Farnsworth House Quiet Season Tours, on weekends, $25 pp, $12 for military members, see website for times and to reserve tickets

January 22 Winter Wildlife Clues, Willowbrook, Glen Ellyn, 1PM-2PM, look for signs of wildlife in winter, learn what wildlife needs to survive winter, enjoy s'mores by a campfire, $5 pp, must register
January 22 & 23 Farmlife in Winter, Kline Creek Farm, West Chicago, 1:30PM-3:30PM, a variety of winter farm activities including harvesting ice, free
January 22 Ice Suncatcher Craft and Walk, Trailside Museum, River Forest, 1:30PM, for ages 5 and up with adult, free but must register
