1. Anderson's Candy Shop: Family-owned Anderson's Candy Shop has been tempting us in the Chicago area with chocolate treats since 1919. The shop has locations in Richmond and Barrington. My absolute favorite treat is the hand-dipped caramel chocolate bar. Just incredible and probably the best I have ever had! The chocolate bars also come in old school wax paper bags. Love it!
2. Noir d'Ebene Noir d'Ebene in Evanston is one of my newest chocolate finds. I had a Rose and Hazelnut Milk Chocolate Coin which was one of the finest pieces of chocolate I have ever had. A masterpiece! Chef Journey Shannon crafts incredibly inviting flavors. In addition to chocolates, indulge your sweet tooth with lollipops and pastries.
