February 11 - March 26 The Orchid Show: Magnified, Chicago Botanic Garden, enjoy an incredible floral infusion inside Chicago Botanic Garden's greenhouses during the Orchid Show, the show features over 10000 orchid blooms and guests will step inside an orchid, a night show is available on certain nights, see website for ticketing information
February 17-26 A Midsummer Night's Dream, Big Noise Theatre, Des Plaines, variety of times and ticket prices
February 4-December 23 Viking's Voyage, Geneva History Museum, learn about the history of the replica Viking ship in Geneva which started as an attraction at the World's Columbian Exhibition in 1893, $5 per adult, $2 kids and seniors, free for members

February 25 Maple Syrup Festival, Ryerson Woods, Riverwoods, 9AM-11AM, demonstration stations on the trail and in the nature center, free
February 25-26 Chicago Suburban Orchid Show & Sale, Cantigny Park, Wheaton, 9AM-5PM, demos, displays, and orchids for purchase, $5 parking
February 25-26 Underground Railroad Walks, Sand Ridge Nature Center, South Holland, 10AM-3PM, take a self guided walk of a trail that follows an Underground Railroad route, free
February 25 Wilmette Winterfest, Village Green, 12PM-4PM, ice sculpting at 1PM, live performances, hot cocoa, free
February 25-26 Sap's Rising, River Trails Nature Center, Northbrook, 2/25 at 10:30AM, 2/26 at 1:30PM, walk in the sugar maple forest to learn how maple syrup is made, free but must register 847-824-8360
February 25 Meet the Bison, Lords Park Zoo, Elgin, 2PM-3:30PM, a zookeeper will give a guided tour of elk, deer, and bison areas, meet bison, for ages 3 and up, $5 per adult, $2 per child 3-12, call Sharry to register (847) 741-6655 or blazier_s@cityofelgin.org
