February 11 - March 26 The Orchid Show: Magnified, Chicago Botanic Garden, enjoy an incredible floral infusion inside Chicago Botanic Garden's greenhouses during the Orchid Show, the show features over 10000 orchid blooms and guests will step inside an orchid, a night show is available on certain nights, see website for ticketing information
February 4-December 23 Viking's Voyage, Geneva History Museum, learn about the history of the replica Viking ship in Geneva which started as an attraction at the World's Columbian Exhibition in 1893, $5 per adult, $2 kids and seniors, free for members

March 25 Haiku Walk, St. James Farm, Warrenville, 10:30AM-11:45AM, learn about haiku and write one on a leisurely walk, $5 pp, ages 12+, must register

March 26 Muddy Paws, Crabtree Nature Center, Barrington Hills, 1PM, search for and identify tracks on a walk with a naturalist, free
March 26 Conservation Egg Hunt, Brookdale Shelter, Woodstock, 2PM-3PM, a short hike leads kids to the "eggs" of local birds, free but must register
