Family Fun in the Chicago Suburbs April 8-9, 2023
I took a bit of a hiatus last week for a trip out East but am back to sharing the awesome local things in the Chicago suburbs. Here are my picks for this weekend:

February 4-December 23 Viking's Voyage, Geneva History Museum, learn about the history of the replica Viking ship in Geneva which started as an attraction at the World's Columbian Exhibition in 1893, $5 per adult, $2 kids and seniors, free for members, closed Sundays and Mondays

April 8 Spring Egg Hunt. Kalk Park, Glencoe, different age brackets starting at 10AM
April 8 - 9 Spring Planting on the Farm Tour, Kline Creek Farm, West Chicago, 10AM-4PM, tour the farmhouse and see how the farmers began spring planting on the farm, tours leave on the hour, $5 suggested donation
April 8 Easter Parade Antioch, 10:30AM
April 8 Bunny Hop!, Long Grove, 11AM-2PM, visitors will hop from station to station at Brother's Field, face painting, fire trucks, ponies and more
April 8 Doggie Eggstravaganza, Berens Park, Elmhurst, 11AM, bring your doggo to enjoy an Easter egg hunt, free, no registration required, dogs must be on leash and have current vaccinations
April 8 Bunny Train, Fox River Trolley Museum, see website for ticketing and times
April 8 Rivers of Color: Rainbow Science Hike, Four Rivers Environmental Education Center, Channahon, 1PM, learn how rainbows are made and engage in rainbow making activities along the hike, free but must register by April 7
