Highland Park continues to be an epicenter of delightful family activities year after year, season after season including this holiday season! During November and December, Downtown Highland Park Alliance invites families to several events adding extra magic to the holidays.

Events kick off this Saturday, November 18 with the Sugar Plum Shopping Spree Event featuring deals at participating downtown merchants. The deals will be on all day however from 3PM-5PM Port Clinton Square will turn into a magical wonderland with visits with Santa and his elves, hot cocoa, cookies, carolers, and more. Stay for the tree lighting at 5PM!
On December 2, Celebrate the Festival of Lights from 2PM-4PM! Visit Port Clinton Square to celebrate Hanukkah with klezmer music and sufganiyot. Hanukkah Harriet will visit and there will be crafts for the kids!
Candyland-themed Wonderland on December 9 extends the holiday joy with inspiration derived from a childhood favorite game! From 2PM-4PM, Downtown Highland Park will be transformed. Enjoy a Candyland-themed scavenger hunt. Lady Lollipop, Lord Licorice, and the gingerbread man will visiting. Songs of carolers will lift spirits.

Events culminate with the Hot Cocoa Crawl on December 16 2PM-4PM where participating downtown merchants will have hot cocoa for revelers. Renaissance Place will sponsor and host Gingerbread House making with carolers and elves.
Highland Park will truly be Home Sweet Home for the Holidays this season!!!
