Wandering the Trails at Big Foot Beach State Park
On a recent morning, I enjoyed a peaceful ramble exploring a portion of the 6.5-miles of hiking trails. Overall, the natural trails were pretty easily navigated. Many were gentle while some were a little bit steeper. I wandered through the woodlands quiet and still.

Ceylon Lagoon offers beautiful scenery and a tranquil spot for a little fishing. After hiking through the woodlands, I enjoyed pausing to take in the scene at the lagoon.

While I did not spend as much time at Big Foot Beach State Park as I would have liked, I found the preserve to welcome further exploration and adventure. I hope to return when it is warmer out so I can take on more of the trails.
