November 1 Dia de los Muertos Celebration, Round Lake Beach, Civic Center, 6PM, traditional dance, music, and food, children's crafts, and more

Saturday, November 2

November 2 Evanston Made First Saturday, visit with local artists, see local art and exhibitions, make art, see website for more details

November 2 Dia de los Muertos Celebration, Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 1PM-3PM, learn about the traditions of the Day of the Dead, craft paper flowers, paint sugar skull magnets

November 2 Dia de los Muertos Celebration, Highland Park 1PM-3PM

November 2 Stews & Brews, The Lot, Highland Park, 5PM-9PM, live music, different craft beers, a selection of yummy stews

November 2-3 Creating Glass Pumpkins: At Mundelein's Patterson Glassworks, fall is the time to craft glass pumpkins! Open Houses for creating glass pumpkins are October 12 & 13, 19 & 20 and November 2 & 3, 9 & 10. The experience is $55-$95 depending on size and type of pumpkin. The Open House runs 11AM-4PM each day. Call 847-949-0013 to book your time.

November 3 Walk and Talk: History of the Preserves: Camp Pine Woods, Mount Prospect, 1:30PM
