Lightscape Adds Sparkle To Chicago Botanic Garden During The Holiday Season

 

Lightscape at Chicago Botanic Garden adds sparkle to the holiday season during its sixth year beginning on November 15, 2024. The innovative Chicago holiday event has become a cherished tradition. Each year, I look forward to walking the new path through a joyful collection of engaging light displays. Despite being part of the Chicago holiday event scene since 2019, Lightscape still illuminates the holiday spirit in unique and delightful ways.

Each year, Chicago Botanic Garden's Lightscape expertly weaves lights, music, and motion throughout a selection of gardens. Each display evokes the wonder and awe of the season. The whimsical displays include old favorites, reimagined experiences, and new concepts. The blend makes every Lightscape special.

Fan favorite Winter Cathedral will once again lift spirits during this year's Lightscape. A new experience called Submergence by the UK artist Squidsoup will create motion with hanging strands of light. I am looking forward to seeing this year's combination of inspired, dynamic designs. 

New to Lightscape for 2024:

• Theme Nights which invite revelers to don glowing apparel and items on Tuesdays, pajamas on Wednesdays, and ugly Christmas sweaters on Thursdays.
• 21+ and over evenings which will feature specialty cocktails and mocktails for purchase. Thursday November 21 and Thursday December 5 are 21+ and over from 7PM-11PM.
