Engaging and Dynamic Travel and Nature Presentations

Melissa Schwartz presents on a variety of topics with a nature or travel focus while truly bringing destinations and the natural worlds alive for her audience. Her use of breathtaking video imagery transport the audience. Additionally, she threads opportunities for audience participation throughout her presentations to further enhance the experience.

Melissa holds a B.S. and M.S. in Environmental Science offering a deeper understanding of her topics. She has explored Iceland during 5 visits and has become emersed in the culture, history, and nature of the fascinating nation. As an avid hiker throughout her life and having hiked 100s of trails in both Illinois and Wisconsin, Melissa brings a new perspective to nature learning that audiences love.



During the past four years, Melissa has presented at a variety of senior communities, libraries, and other institutions including The Garlands of Barrington, Des Plaines Public Library, The Carrington at Lincolnwood, Encore Village, Northbrook Public Library, Mount Prospect Senior Living, Wilmette Public Library, The Selfhelp Home, Crabtree Nature Center, and Elmhurst Public Library.

Presentations include but are not limited to:
